By Road

Take the M5 or A303 to Exeter . At Exeter , take the A30 westbound. Follow the A30 for approximately 65 miles then take the turning signposted for Padstow and follow this road A389 into the town.

As you enter Padstow, drive along the road past the Tesco store on your right hand side. Carry along the main ring road ignoring the signs for the Town Centre and Docks. Drive past the Fire Station and Car Park on your right hand side.

From here you will see BROWN TOURISM SIGNS at each junction advertising The Old Ship Hotel.

After the Car park take the next right hand turning. Follow the road taking the second left into Tregirls Lane , then 2 nd right into Fentonluna Lane drive to the end of this road bearing a left into St. Saviours Lane . Drive to the end of this Lane and The Old Ship Hotel is the last turning on the right hand side.

By Train

Taking the train is a quick and relaxing way to get to Cornwall . Services from London and other main line stations to Bodmin Parkway are fast and frequent. From the station at Bodmin, take a taxi to The Old Ship Hotel.

Newquay Airport, only 6 miles away, has daily links with an increasing number of regional airports around the UK, including London (6 flights a day), Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Teeside and Dublin. Once at Newquay Airport , hire a car or take a taxi to The Old Ship.
