Padstow provides a perfect base from which to explore Cornwall . The world famous Eden Project is a short drive away, as are Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Slightly further afield you'll find The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, The Tate Gallery at St Ives and The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek. All offer great days out for every member of the family.

There is plenty of entertainment for children with a variety of theme parks to choose from, including Flambards near Helston, Paradise Park at Hayle and Crealy Adventure Park near Wadebridge; all have lots to do even in wet weather.

Those looking for adrenaline will be in heaven - The Extreme Academy just down the coast at Watergate Bay offers a selection of sports from kitesurfing to mountainboarding; you can try surfing with the Harlyn Surf School , coasteering or abseiling at Lusty Glaze near Newquay or sailing from Rock, just across the estuary.

We can also arrange a round of golf, pony trekking or even a sea fishing trip – our reception team are here to help you make the most of your stay in Padstow.
