National Lobster Hatchery.
At the heart of the NLH's work is our lobster restocking project. Local fishermen bring “pregnant” female lobsters in to us, to give them a chance to release their delicate offspring in captivity, where there are no predators. The young lobsters are then raised to a size where they can be released back into the sea and look after themselves. Unlike most marine biology labs our work is on view for anybody coming to our visitor centre. |

Padstow cycle hire.
Positioned at the very start of the Camel Trail in the historic fishing port of Padstow we offer an unrivalled service for cyclists of all ages and ability. The camel trail winds its way along the river Camel and follows the disused railway line all the way through Wadebridge to Bodmin making it virtually level and traffic free. |

The North Cornish Coastline is one of the most spectacular locations in the UK and nestling within it lies Trevose Golf & Country Club, sheltered by the majestic Trevose Head with its watchful lighthouse. |

Padstow RNLI
There have been two stations at Padstow, the No 1 station being established before 1825 and the No 2 station in 1899. In March 1938, the No 2 station was designated No 1 station and the old No 1 station at Hawkers Cove designated No 2. The No 2 station was closed in 1962. The Institution took over full control of the station in 1856. The current lifeboat station is located at Mother Ivey's Bay, Trevose Head. |

Eden Project.
Eden's Visitor Centre opened to the public in May 2000 and the full site in March 2001. Since then we have seen nearly seven million visitors come through the doors and have witnessed the opening of The Core , our new education centre that Tim Smit called "the finest modern building in the world". |
